Somatic Sex Therapy for Couples & Individuals

Reclaim erotic connection, heal shame, and feel more alive in your body.

It’s hard to talk about sex.

Harder still to admit something isn’t working.

Maybe sex isn’t happening in your relationship at all.

Or it is, but it feels disconnected, mechanical, or full of tension.

Maybe you long for more closeness, more turn-on, more freedom, and instead find silence, shutdown, conflict, or avoidance.

Sometimes you’re not even sure what’s wrong.

You just know this isn’t it.

Picture

Sexual disconnection can feel like exile

From your body.

From your partner.

From your own desire.

When shame, trauma, or past wounds show up in the bedroom, it’s easy to shut down or blame yourself.

You are not alone in this. And you are not broken.

Somatic Sex Therapy offers a different way forward.

One that doesn’t ask you to perform, but invites you to listen to your body, speak your truth, and rebuild erotic trust from the inside out.

What Is Somatic Sex Therapy?

Somatic Sex Therapy blends traditional sex therapy with learning to listen to the information your body is sharing.

It’s not just about talking.

This work is about learning the erotic skills most of us were never taught.

In a safe, guided, fully clothed space, you’ll explore what it means to feel, name, and communicate what’s real in your body.

You might practice:
  • Consent and boundary-setting
  • Speaking your wants and limits
  • Learning to feel again, gently
  • Rebuilding trust with yourself and with a partner
  • Discovering what actually brings you pleasure.

Sessions are always fully clothed and entirely professional.

There is no sexual activity or touch between therapist and clients.

Any guided somatic exercises are consent-based and focused on awareness, not performance.

You are always in choice. Your pace matters.
If you're wondering whether Somatic Sex Therapy could help,
take this self-assessment.

Somatic Sex Therapy includes
your body in the process

By working with movement, sensation, breath, and awareness, we help bring your nervous system into the conversation.

This creates real change, not just insight.

Somatic sex therapists are trained to work with the emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of sexuality.

That includes arousal, shame, trauma, power, and pleasure.

It also includes the very human fears and hopes that come with being in a body, in a relationship, and in a world that has made sex confusing or painful.

What to Expect in a Session
  • Somatic Sex Therapy sessions are safe, professional, and collaborative.
  • We might sit and talk.
  • We might breathe together, track sensation, or role-play conversations you’ve been too scared to have.
  • You may be invited to notice how your body responds in real time, and practice speaking from that place.

What Results Can You Expect from Somatic Sex Therapy?

The benefits of Somatic Sex Therapy show up in your body, your bedroom, and your life.
My clients often tell me things like,

“I’m feeling more.”

“I like sex again.”

“I finally said what I wanted, and it went well.”

  • You feel more sensations in your body.
  • You trust yourself more.
  • You know what you want, and  feel more confident asking for it.
  • Shame softens.
  • Conversations about sex get easier.
  • Relationships feel closer, more connected.
In the words of one client:
"The somatic sex therapy work I have begun in such a holistic way with Pavini's guidance and support is deeply powerful.

It is healing and transformative, starting at the cellular layer and spiraling through my body, my sex, my emotions, my brain, my actions and relationships — all of me.

In particular, I'm able to stay present during sex, and last week I asked my partner for something I'd been afraid to ask for.

And she said yes. I am so grateful for the wonderful sex education, sex coaching and loving whole-hearted support Pavini has given me."

Hi. I'm Pavini.

Pavini Moray Sex Therapy
This is a picture of my and my partner of 15 years.

I offer somatic sex therapy because I know, in my own body, what it’s like to be on a sexual healing path.

Talk therapy helped me understand what happened. But it was somatics that gave me back my desire. My boundaries. My capacity to feel. That’s what changed things in bed, not just in my mind. And not just bed, but my life, my creativity, and my work.

I take your pacing seriously. Consent is the ground we stand on.
I’m not here to push you or fix you. I’m here to walk alongside you, to offer support as you find your way back to the kind of sexuality that feels true.

I am queer and trans non-binary, and I hold space for humans of every variety.

I want erotic freedom for you, and would be honored to help you find that.
Curious (and maybe terrified!) about
what erotic freedom could mean for you?

It starts with one brave conversation.

I’ll listen with care to whatever you’re ready to share.
We’ll talk through what’s happening, what you’re wanting, and whether this work feels like a fit.
